YOUR PRODUCT. AN AGREED PACKING SCOPE.

Define what arrives and what should leave.

Bring the product and the packing requirement together.

Start with the product you will supply, its specification and the finished pack you need. We review line suitability, handling, packaging and the approvals required for the proposed programme.

If the project also needs product manufacture or development, include that requirement so the team can assess the appropriate scope.

  • Incoming product

Physical form, specification, allergen information, shelf life, storage and the pack in which it arrives.

  • Finished pack

  • The programme

Quantities, material ownership, trial needs, acceptance criteria and proposed timing.

PACK FORMAT REVIEW

Assess the pack and the product as one requirement.

BEFORE MATERIALS ARE COMMITTED

Questions to settle early.

Can we supply our own packaging?

Identify the materials, supplier, specification, quantities and availability in your brief. Suitability and acceptance requirements are reviewed before the packing programme is confirmed.

Can you source packaging instead?

Tell us which parts you expect FlavourTech to supply. Sourcing responsibilities, specifications, minimums and approvals are agreed for the project.

What product information is needed?

The physical form, complete specification, ingredients and allergens, storage, shelf life and proposed handling conditions, together with the required finished pack.

What happens to unused product or packaging?

Agree ownership, storage or return arrangements and reconciliation expectations in the project terms before materials are committed.

Can you confirm a packing date immediately?

Timing is confirmed after technical suitability, materials, approvals and the proposed packing programme are reviewed. Share the required milestones so the team can assess the brief.

Which documents should we review?

Request current site documents relevant to the activity, the agreed product/pack standard, acceptance criteria, and the identification and release records required for your project.
